The Arkansas Cannabis Mixer will take place on Thursday, September 21st from 6-8pm at the Comfort Inn & Suites Presidential in Little Rock, AR.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Sept. 14, 2017 /Weed Wire/ — The Arkansas Cannabis Industry Association has extended their invitation to medical cannabis cultivation facility and dispensary applicants, future medical cannabis patients and applicants, members of the medical and scientific community, hopeful medical cannabis industry entrepreneurs and job candidates, political representatives, members of the press, and members of the general public to come together in celebration of a milestone in Arkansas history. On Thursday, September 21st, the ACIA will host the “Arkansas Cannabis Mixer” party from 6-8pm at the Comfort Inn & Suites Presidential in Little Rock.
The event will feature live music as well as heavy hors d’oeuvres and complimentary drinks.
“Our Celebration mixer is the first opportunity for applicants to get together and to start talking about how to best implement our plans for bringing medical cannabis to Arkansas patients, now that the hyper-competitive time has passed,” says Storm Nolan, ACIA President. “It’s also a great opportunity to just socialize and make friends among those who do wish to be in the industry. Prospective dispensary owners and prospective cultivation facility owners will need to join together in the approaching months and form working relationships that will be critical once licenses are awarded, and Thursday’s cannabis mixer is the perfect venue to start that process.”
While the event as billed as a celebration for medical cannabis applicants, it is also an opportunity for members of the general public to meet with ACIA board members and discuss the future of the medical cannabis industry in Arkansas. Tickets are only $25 and can be purchased directly through the Facebook event page or Eventbrite.
