Tribal Cannabis Consultant Cleared of All Charges

The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe in North Dakota began launching a cannabis resort in 2015, but the threat of federal prosecution forced the tribe and its consultants to burn its entire cannabis crop. 34-year-old Eric Hagen, a consultant who worked with the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe, was acquitted of all drug charges stemming from his involvement with the tribe’s cannabis resort.
